Restoran New Hong Seng Bay Seafood@Tanjung Sepat

The crew members of Harkausiewmai are eager to visit Tanjung Sepat to taste the fresh seafood.
Hence, here we are on the eve of Merdeka Day, relaxing by the side of rushing sea breeze while enjoying the delicious and fresh dishes served by the restaurant located just by the seaside.

We cant resist but to camwhore "kau kau" at yet to be polluted seaside while waiting for the dishes to be served...

A pot of tea which is a norm for chinese dishes, can hav the usual selection of "kuk po". "hiong pin", etc.... why am i writing about the oh, so normal tea? Well, u will understand when ur having it while being blown by the relaxing seabreeze...

Tau Fu Kang
The opening, which is the "tau fu kang" tofu cooked like sharks fin in claypot. This dish is pretty good, and has all the natural taste of bounties from the sea...theres actually crab meat in it too...yummy

Joo as a gentleman, serving us the tau fu kang, and by the look of his face, u can actually see that he is soooo eager to be the first person to taste it...
Well, to some, a bowl of "tau fu kang" would not be complete without some dark vinegar in it. However, it would only be given upon request. This vinegar is mild, and did not provide the necessary "kick" for us who prefer strong taste of vinegar....

Claypot Ho Chien (oyster and egg cooked on claypot)
This dish is pretty good, with so many oysters cooked with the eggs. We can taste the freshness of the oysters, and its pretty darn good for oyster lovers....
Deep Fried Cuttlefish
This dish did not let us down as compared to what we had in KL/Jalan Alor...the cuttlefish still maintains the springy sensation, an indication of freshness
Look at how crunchy and light the batter covering the cuttlefish

Claypot Curry Fish
This dish is damn good, with the precise concoction of spices, it is cooked to perfection..Its not too spicy, hence, the taste of the fish can be savoured. The vegetables are not mushy and ingredients are aplenty(as u can see from the pic)
The total cost for the meal for 5, costs around RM70+ which is quite reasonable

Pros: Fresh seafood, Good dishes, Nice view and breeze

Cons: Need to travel quite far, unless u intend to visit tanjung sepat, it makes little sense that u will travel all the way there from KL just to eat it then, back to KL...

Results: 8.5/10 (it is shy from 9 coz the distance is quite far from KL)
